About Us
Bora Robotics is a high school robotics team founded in 2022 at Burak Bora Anatolian High School in Istanbul, Türkiye. As Team 8859 in the FIRST Robotics Competition, we bring together students who are passionate about engineering, programming, design, and innovation. ​
Each season, our team works intensively to design, manufacture, and program a fully functional robot that competes in an international robotics challenge. But Bora Robotics is more than a robotics team.
​We are a community of students dedicated to learning, collaboration, and sharing the excitement of STEM with others.
Through teamwork, mentorship, and hands-on engineering experience, we aim to develop future innovators who will shape the technologies of tomorrow.
Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire students to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing real-world engineering experiences.
Through robotics competitions, technical training, and outreach projects, we strive to:
